April 22nd | 11am – 2pm
Admittedly, we’re a strangely diverse group at Mulhall’s, but we’re all bound by something even bigger than selling plants: our passion for sharing the unmatched beauty of the natural world – and advocating its place in our built spaces.
So, all that to say: we love Earth Day. To celebrate, we’re throwing a party in the greenhouse, and we’re inviting all our friends.
Filling the place will be the upbeat sounds of local band, Nation, with their folk-pop and blues music. The creators of Dandelion Pop-Up will be serving up garden-fresh street foods and their signature jalapeno-cilantro lemonade.
To celebrate the day, we’ll be doing some earth-loom weaving and honey-tasting. The Omaha Bee Club is even bringing over an observation beehive, and we’ll be giving away special edition prizes at our plant ID booth. Master Gardeners will be here to help answer your gardening questions, and our friends over at City Sprouts will be here too – along with their chickens.
It’s going to be a fun day, and we can’t wait to see everyone!
